I have been wanting to make a western saddle for a while now but I didn’t have a good pattern. but this morning I found my old model horses which I had in storage (their about twice the size of schleich horses) and guess what… they had western saddles so I made a pattern by making a pattern in the larger size then cutting it down. I will try to keep you up to date but if you want a good tutorial check out daisy stalls on youtube.
